Scott Clark McNeilPresident / Executive Producer / Director
A successful Executive Producer and Director with over 25 years experience in broadcast television production, Scott Clark McNeil is the Owner and President of the independent Toronto–based production company General Purpose Entertainment.
Scott is Executive Producer of EXTREME BABYSITTING for YTV, and EP / Co-Director for the premiere season of REBEL WITHOUT A KITCHEN for Travel + Escape and MAKING HOUSE for W Network, 26 episodes of THE FIX for HGTV and Fine Living. His other recent credits include 3 seasons as Executive Producer and Director of THE HEAT WITH MARK McEWAN, airing on Food Network and Fine Living, and 4 seasons as Executive Producer of SAVE US FROM OUR HOUSE! airing on W and American Life and Executive Producer for season one of SHOTGUN RENO for Slice Network.
Scott was the Creator, Executive Producer and Director for the runaway hit series for HGTV, HOLMES ON HOMES, in which he brought G–I Joe to life and broke the mold for reno TV.
Scott's unique brand of story telling keeps on pushing the envelope as he and the talented General Purpose team continue to amass new hit TV series in reality and kids TV.
Mitch BurmanVP Production & Development: Kids & Comedy Programming
After spending the first 20 years of his life watching way too much TV, Mitch decided that he might as well make a career out of it. The Gemini, CSA and International Emmy® Award nominated Producer/Director got his start in television working in Los Angeles on NBC’s popular daytime drama “Santa Barbara”. After a brief stay in Hollywood, he returned to Canada and has spent the past 20 plus years honing his talents all across the Canadian broadcast map. Known for his creativity, story-telling ability and expertise as a show runner, Mitch has been able to bring his talents to some of this country’s most popular and critically acclaimed programs. Having spent a large portion of his early career in sports television, (at TSN, CBC Sports and launching Headline Sports), the more recent years have focused mainly on Reality and Children’s television. Mitch has produced and/or directed acclaimed programs in Lifestyle (“Style By Jury”, “Arresting Design”), Comedy (“The Second City’s Next Comedy Legend”), Docu-series (“Conviction Kitchen”, “Making House”), Competition (“The Adrenaline Project”), Kids (“POV Sports on CBC”) and Prank Television (“Extreme Babysitting”, “Undercover High”), just to name a few. Since coming to General Purpose Entertainment in the fall of 2010, Mitch has created and overseen the production of numerous new hit shows. Next on the horizon is to oversee the Kids & Comedy production department at GPE, to continue producing quality entertainment and to keep watching way too much TV.
Danielle BoucherLine Producer
Since graduating from Niagara College, Danielle has quickly left her mark on the Canadian television industry. Danielle came to General Purpose Entertainment in the fall of 2010 and quickly shot through the ranks from Production Coordinator to Production Manager. She now serves as the in-house Line Producer for all of GPE’s productions. Known for her ability to never let any detail fall through the cracks, Danielle has become an essential cog in the GPE wheel, mastering the arts of budgeting, scheduling and tech support. Danielle has managed the productions of numerous shows including “Shotgun Reno”, “Extreme Babysitting”, “Rebel Without A Kitchen” and “Undercover High”. Adding the role of Post Production Supervisor to her repertoire has now made Danielle a double threat.
Blair Locke is one of the major creative forces behind the projects that General Purpose has taken on over the last 10 years. A classically trained cinematographer, his experience ranges from commercials, to features, to long format docs and reality TV. A preference for challenging conditions and adventure has led Blair to develop a unique style that combines his formal training and his love of capturing stories as they happen.
Blair's tenacity for story translates into the projects to which he's drawn. He played an integral part in the creative style, look and in–your–face shooting of the hit renovation disaster show HOLMES ON HOMES. Blair shot 4 full seasons of HOH before moving on to 3 seasons of THE HEAT WITH MARK McEWAN for Food Network. Blair is also credited as Director of Photography of many episodes of REBEL WITHOUT A KITCHEN for Travel + Escape as well as SAVE US FROM OUR HOUSE! for W, and all 26 episodes of THE FIX for HGTV and EXTREME BABYSITTING for YTV.

Anna WasylenkiVP Development
Anna has 10 years experience as a writer and creative producer within the factual and documentary world of Canadian television. Her previous work was as casting and field producer for three seasons of CTV's The Amazing Race Canada, casting and story producer for Proper TV and Discovery Channel’s Blood Sweat and Tools, as well as Intervention Canada seasons one and two with Insight Productions. She also worked as Challenge producer for Tricon’s The Incredible Food Race for Food Network Canada in 2015. She joined the GPE team in January 2016 and is responsible for overseeing the development of lifestyle and factual programming for the company, identifying upcoming talent and trends and establishing broadcaster contacts in Canada, U.S and Internationally.
Anne SinclairCorporate Accountant
Anne Sinclair loves the dynamic environment in which film and television production operates and has been specializing in accounting for this industry for over 15 years. During this time she has developed strong ties with the funding agencies and the financial sector of the industry.
Anne has been running her own accounting business since 2004. Prior to that she was Controller at Associated Producers for over 11 years.
In 2006 Anne was appointed Corporate Accountant of General Purpose. She set up and manages General Purpose's accounting systems and is responsible for financial reporting and tax credit filings for the company and its various productions.
